At 17:30 on August 8, 2025, the first World RISC-V Days launched by the RISC-V International Foundation was held at the Beijing Open Source Chip Research Institute. Li Cheng, Engineer of Kubuds Technology (abbreviated as Kubuds Tech) and Member of the Technical Committee of the deepin Community, attended the event and shared the latest progress.

As a representative of the deepin community, Li Cheng shared the recent progress of the deepin-ports SIG in the RISC-V direction. He systematically reviewed the development history of the deepin-ports SIG and focused on introducing the SIG’s recent progress in RISC-V ecosystem adaptation and community collaboration model optimization.

At the same time, Li Cheng also introduced 80 new headcounts (HC) for the joint internship program between the RISC-V Prosperity 2036 and deepin, providing students interested in RISC-V with opportunities to deeply participate in deepin’s open-source projects. For more details, please click here:
