Kubuds Tech Debuts at 2025 RISC-V Tokyo Day
On February 27, 2025 RISC-V Tokyo Day was successfully held in Tokyo, Japan. As a new member of the RISC-V open-source ecosystem, 【KUBUDS TECH】 made its appearance as a Top Sponsor. Wu Wei, Manager of the RISC-V Prosperity 2036 and Co-founder of Kubuds Tech, delivered a keynote speech, comprehensively showcasing the growth journey of Kubuds Technology. At the same time, a number of cutting-edge technical achievements were displayed at the on-site booth.
RISC-V Prosperity 2036: Mechanism, Progress, and Vision

As the Manager of the RISC-V Prosperity 2036, Wu Wei detailed its operational mechanisms and future plans:
- Operational Mechanism: No board of directors, no membership fees, relying entirely on community self-governance. Any enterprise or developer can freely join or leave, promoting projects through GitHub collaboration.
- Core Progress: Over 40 manufacturers and 500+ developers have joined. Projects such as the “Development Board Drift Plan” and “Open Source Intern Joint Training” have been implemented, cumulatively porting and optimizing over 200 software titles to the RISC-V platform.
- Target Vision: By 2036, promote the adaptation of 1000 key commercial software titles for RISC-V, covering core areas such as AI, edge computing, and healthcare, to end the “first-mover disadvantage.”
The Birth of Kubuds Tech: Originating from the RISC-V Dreams of a Group of Young People

As an active participant in the RISC-V Prosperity 2036, Kubuds Technology has been committed to the construction of the basic software ecosystem such as compilers, simulators, and even operating systems. With the mission of “providing commercial-grade technical support for RISC-V”, it has quickly become an ecological software partner of many high-performance RISC-V chips and manufacturers. The manager introduced, “The growth of Kubuds proves that the open-source spirit and commercial value can coexist. We are both technical contributors and ecological beneficiaries.”
Booth Highlights
At the booth of Kubuds Technology this time, a number of innovative projects and technical solutions were exhibited. The RISC-V Prosperity 2036 showcased its technical landscape overseas in a panoramic manner for the first time.
