This is the packages index’s next advance on the “edge AI” main line after AIfES (embedded machine learning library, added August 10): a lightweight agent framework means RT-Thread is introducing Agent runtime capability for MCU-class devices, consistent with the official “edge AI” strategic direction. On the same day, another fix(ch390) commit corrected software package author information (ch390 NIC driver package maintenance metadata).

3.2 Third-party CANopenNode integration package (canopennode-rtt)

Community developer released canopennode-rtt: a CANopenNode integration software package for RT-Thread (CANopen protocol stack, industrial fieldbus direction). This is an important sign of RT-Thread (RealSilicon) extending from “operating system + ecosystem” to “own hardware products”: the AI flight controller targets drone/smart aerial vehicle scenarios, combining RTOS real-time performance, software package ecosystem, and AI inference capability. Two consecutive EET China reports (pre-sale → release livestream) confirm the product has entered the commercialization stage. This product is the best sample for observing the implementation of RT-Thread’s “industry applications + embodied/flight intelligence” strategy.
